Using the FOXTEL iQ2
Before calling FOXTEL for troubleshooting assistance,
please run through the following steps:
Check when
complete
What should I check? What do I do next?
Is the power lead from the FOXTEL iQ2 connected to
the power point and the power turned on?
If not, connect the
power lead and turn
on the switch at the
power point
Is the FOXTEL iQ2 standby button blue? If not, press the
standby button on
the FOXTEL iQ2
Is the television on the A Channel? If yes, ensure you have
pressed the FOXTEL
button on the remote
control
Is the smartcard inserted correctly? Ensure the gold chip is
facing down and the
arrow on the top of
the smart card is facing
the FOXTEL iQ2
Is the FOXTEL cable from the wallplate to the
FOXTEL iQ2 tightly secured?
If not, tighten the
FOXTEL cable to the
wallplate and
the FOXTEL iQ2
Are the leads from the FOXTEL iQ2 to the TV
connected?
If not, connect the
leads
Try performing a ‘soft re-boot’ of the FOXTEL iQ2.
To do this, press the reset button on the front
panel of the FOXTEL iQ2, holding it down for three
seconds.
Once this is complete,
press the standby
button on the FOXTEL iQ2
