Step 8: Connecting the Dynamic Scale and Feeder plus
Caution! Only connect the Dynamic Scale
and Feeder plus once the PostBase franking
machine is fully installed. Otherwise the Post-
Base will not recognise the remaining system
components. The mailing system will not
work.
Caution! When you move the PostBase mail-
ing system from a cold environment (i.e. below
10 °C / 50 °F): Unpack the mailing system and
wait at least 2 hours before connecting the
mailing system. PostBase requires this period
to adapt to the ambient conditions.
Plug the power cable into the
power connection of the associ-
ated system component.
Only then plug the power cable
into the power socket.
Connect the Ramp plus’ connection cable
to the Feeder plus (RAMP interface).
Connect the Feeder plus’ connection cable
to the Dynamic Scale (CAN BUS interface).
Connect the Dynamic Scale’s
connection cable to the franking
machine (CAN BUS interface).
