On the Dynamic Scale
• Fold the hood upwards.
The two sensor windows for the letter width
detection, the reflector surface inside the
hood and the three letter transport sensors
are now accessible for cleaning with the com-
pressed air spray.
Cleaning sensors in the letter receiving tray
:
• Remove the dust from the sensor windows
with a few puffs of the compressed air
spray.
Cleaning the reflector surface in the hood
:
• Remove the dust from the reflector surface
with a few puffs of the compressed air
spray.
Cleaning the letter transport sensors
:
• Remove the dust from the sensors with a
few puffs of the compressed air spray.
Note: The third sensor is located on the
right, behind the transport roller.
If all sensors on the Dynamic Scale have
been cleaned:
• Fold the hood down.
