Safety Instructions
Be sure to observe the following security instructions for handling the
FRITZ!Fon to protect yourself and the FRITZ!Fon from harm:
• Moisture and liquids that find their way into the FRITZ!Fon can
cause electric shocks or short circuits.
– Only use the FRITZ!Fon indoors.
– Never let liquids get inside the FRITZ!Fon.
• Heat accumulation can lead to overheating of the FRITZ!Fon
and subsequently damage the FRITZ!Fon.
– Protect the FRITZ!Fon from direct sunlight.
– Do not cover the FRITZ!Fon.
• The FRITZ!Fon contains hazardous components and should on-
ly be opened by authorized repair technicians.
– Do not open the FRITZ!Fon housing.
– If the FRITZ!Fon needs to be repaired, please take it to a
specialized vendor.
• Dust, moisture and vapors as well as caustic cleaners or sol-
vents can damage the FRITZ!Fon.
– Protect the FRITZ!Fon from dust, moisture and steam.
– Switch the FRITZ!Fon before cleaning.
– Clean the FRITZ!Fon with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
