Hybrid mode When the charger feeds power to a battery while it is in use, we call this hybrid mode.

In hybrid mode the battery:
- discharges according to its operating load
- is simultaneously recharged by the charger
This means it can go on working for much longer than if it only discharges, and prolongs
the service life of the battery.
