Care, maintenance and disposal
Safety
General Under normal operating conditions, the device requires only a minimum of care and main-
tenance. However, it is vital to observe some important points to ensure the device remains
in a usable condition for many years.
On every start-up - Check the charger lead, welding torch, welding cable and grounding (earthing) con-
nection for damage
- Check that the device has an all-round clearance of 0.5 m (1 ft. 8 in.) to ensure that
cooling air can flow in and out freely
Every 2 months - Clean the air filter (if fitted)
Disposal Dispose of in accordance with the applicable national and local regulations.
WARNING! Improper handling can cause injuries or damage. Do not open the
device.
The device may only be opened by Fronius service engineers.
If you need a replacement battery, hand the device over to a Fronius Service Part-
ner.
NOTE! Air inlets and outlets must never be covered, not even partially.
