5.3.4 Viewing IEC measurements in the Coupler screen
It’s possible to copy IEC response curves to the Coupler screen where they can
be compared to other response curves. To do this:
1. Run the IEC test sequence.
2. Press [F6].
3. Use [
] to select Store Crvs Coup, if necessary.
4. Press [>] to store the curves and close the menu. The following is a list of
where the curves are stored in the Coupler screen. Any previous measure
-
ments stored in those curve locations will be overwritten.
Full-on Gain—CRV 5
Response—CRV 6
OSPL90—CRV 7
5. Press [EXIT] and [F1] to enter the Coupler screen and view the IEC response
curves.
5.3.5 Understanding the Menu Settings
The following menu settings are available in the local menu of the IEC screen.
Measurement Settings
Noise Red (Tone)—The amount of noise reduction used in the IEC mea-
surements. See Section 2.3.1.2 for more details.
Battery Meas.—The status of the battery current measurement. Turns it
ON or OFF. (Battery pill required for this measurement.)
Battery Size—The size of the battery of the hearing aid being tested.
IEC Settings
Equiv Noise Test—Status of the EIN measurement. Turns it ON or OFF.
Aid Settings
Sweep Start Delay—The delay after the first tone is presented in a pure-
tone frequency sweep and before the first measurement is taken.
Sweep Meas. Delay—The delay between frequencies in a pure-tone fre-
quency sweep.
