6.2.2 Placing the earhook and reference microphone
1. Place the wedge-style earhook on the client’s ear.
2. Attach the reference microphone, facing forward, on the wedge of the
earhook, directly above the ear to be tested. The reference microphone
should be as close to the head as possible. See Figure 6.2.2.
3. Adjust the round Velcro pad on the wedge style earhook by turning it, so
that the inside pad fits firmly against the client’s neck.
