Optional Components
The options available for the machine are as follows.
Component Description
Fax Kit Adds the fax feature to the machine.
Inverter Inverts paper when copying or printing on both sides of paper.
Exit Kit Inverts paper when using the Finisher, Duplex Kit, or Center
Output Tray - Upper. Offset stacking is also available.
Exit 2 Tray Required when Center Output Tray - Upper is installed.
Duplex Kit Allows you to copy or print on both sides of paper.
Printer Kit Used when the print feature is not installed on the machine.
Also required to use the e-mail feature.
HDD Kit Expands machine features, such as for copying and mailbox.
PostScript 3 Kit Allows you to use the machine as a PostScript printer. Also
enables printing from Macintosh.
128MB Memory Expands the machine’s memory to 128 MB.
256MB Memory Expands the machine’s memory to 256 MB.
B Finisher Allows you to staple the printouts.
Two Tray Module Adds two additional paper trays.
Tandem Tray Module Adds two high volume paper trays.
Stand A stand for the machine. Allows you to store paper stock
inside.
Accessory IF Kit An interface board for connecting external devices to the
machine, for example for billing management by an outside
vendor.
Security Kit* Improves security features on the data stored in the HDD.
Network Accounting Kit Allows you to keep track of the user accounts via an external
authentication server.
Full Scan Kit Adds the scan feature to the machine.
Internet Fax Kit Adds the Internet Fax (iFax) feature to the machine.
Emulation Kit Adds the printer emulation feature to the machine.
Stamp Kit Allows you to stamp each sheet of a document to mark
successfully scanned sheets.
Side Tray Adds the side output tray.
Fax Extension Board* Adds extra G3 facsimile lines to the machine.
Additional G3 Port* Adds an extra G3 line to the machine when the fax feature is
available.
