3. Install the printer by completing the following steps:
1) Mount the printer or a sheet feeder to the cabinet or castor base.
(Refer to the installation guide for each accessory.)
2) Plug the power cord to the printer.
3) Wrap the power cord around the cable hook on the cabinet or castor base.
(Refer to the installation guide for the cabinet or castor base.)
4) Remove the two tape strips from the back of the earth fault interrupter on the power
cord, and paste them onto the scanner stand as in the figure. Then, plug the other
end of the power cord into a power outlet.
5) Switch the power on and load the toner cartridges and drum cartridge.
(Refer to the ‘Setup Guide’.)
6) Load paper into the printer. (Refer to the ‘Setup Guide’.)
