4.2 Turning on the Power Synchronized Unit

■ Procedure for powering on
The procedure for turning on a power synchronized unit is described below.
1 Connect the power cord (for AC power input) to the power synchronized unit.
1-1 Connect the power plug of the power cord (for AC power input) to the AC IN port.
1-2 Attach the release tie to the plug of the power cord (for AC power input) to firmly fix the power plug
to ensure it does not become unplugged.
2 Connect the power plug at the other end of the power cord to the power socket.
When the power plug is connected to the power socket, the power synchronized unit is turned on.
Check that the CHECK LED is off and the POWER LED is blinking green on the power synchronized unit.
Connect the power plug to the power socket that belongs to the same power line as
the ETERNUS DX/AF. Do not connect the power plug to a server UPS unit.
