5.2 Connection Procedure When Adding an ETERNUS DX/AF
This section describes how to connect the power synchronized unit when an ETERNUS DX/AF is added.

Adding up to four ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems
The connection procedure when up to four ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems are added is described below.
Procedure
1 Set the required settings for power synchronization of the ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems
that are to be added.
For details about the ETERNUS DX/AF settings, refer to "4.1 Setting the ETERNUS DX/AF" (page 45).
Adding the ETERNUS DX8100 S3/DX8700 S3/DX8900 S3 must be performed by your maintenance engineer.
Do not attempt to add the ETERNUS DX8100 S3/DX8700 S3/DX8900 S3 by yourself.
