When Upgrading to ONTAP 9.12.1 P4 or ONTAP 9.13.1
After the upgrade to ONTAP 9.12.1 P4 or ONTAP 9.13.1, the shelf firmware fails to be automatically
updated so the update process may repeat.
● Phenomenon
• If an automatic upgrade of the shelf firmware is attempted multiple times, the following events
are repeatedly recorded in the EMS.
• If there is a node being updated due to repeated attempts of a shelf firmware update, "running"
is displayed as follows.
