Configuration Procedure
Connect business servers to the ETERNUS DX storage systems (Primary and Secondary storage systems) via
switches, and then connect the management server (ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser) to the ETERNUS DX storage
systems via LANs.
To perform automatic failover, connect the Storage Cluster controller to ETERNUS DX storage systems (Pri-
mary and Secondary storage systems) via the LAN in order to detect trouble in the ETERNUS DX storage sys-
tems.
To configure Storage Cluster, perform the settings with ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser.
● Required Environment
Two ETERNUS DX storage systems are required.
To use Storage Cluster, the ETERNUS SF Storage Cruiser Storage Cluster option is necessary.
A Storage Cluster controller is required to perform automatic failover.
