2.3 Preparation and Setup for the Administration Terminal
The operation and management of the ETERNUS DX are performed by using a Web browser on the adminis-
tration terminal that is connected to the LAN for operation management.
Prepare and set up the administration terminal in advance.
Administration terminal preparation
Prepare the administration terminal that contains the following environment:

Web browser
Usable Web browsers are shown below. Using Web browsers other than the following is possible, but prop-
er operation is not guaranteed.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 (desktop version), 11.0 (desktop version)

Mozilla Firefox 3.6.x, ESR 10.0.x, ESR 17.0.x, ESR 24.0.x
Administration terminal setup
Check the settings of the Web browser on the administration terminal.
For details on the required settings, refer to "Configuration Guide (Web GUI)".
