Removing and installing the battery
Only use batteries approved by Fujitsu for your notebook.
Never use force when fitting or removing a battery.
Make sure that no foreign bodies get into the battery connections.
Never s tore a battery for long periods in the discharged state. This
can m ake it impossible to recharge.
The LIFEBOOK E4511 is shown below. The procedure is identical for both device variants.

► Slide the l
ocking device (1) in the d ire ction of the arrow and hold it in place.
► Slide the locking device (2) in t he d irection of the arrow.
► Grasp the
opening (b) and lift the ba ttery out of the battery compartment
in the di
rection of the arrow (3).
