► Position th e battery at the edge.
► Insert the battery into the battery compa rtment until it engages p ositively (1).
► Slide the release bu tton in the direction of the arrow (2).
► Complete the removal, see chapter "
Finishin g component removal", Page 72.

The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following m odular bay devices can be operated in the m odu lar bay of your note book:
• Second battery
• Second hard disk drive
•DVDRWdrive
•Blu-rayBD-Wdrive
• Weight Save r
Only use modular bay devices designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the modular bay devices.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the modular bay.
You ca
n swap modular bay devices during operation. This means you
do not
need to switch off the n otebook.
Log o
ff the modular bay device via the corresponding symbol in the task bar.
The m
odular bay device can now be removed without any further actions being necessary.
