Please read the chapter "Imp ortant notes", Page 8 - English .
If your device is equipped with a Windows ope rating system, the necessary
hardware drivers and supplied software are already pre-installed.
Before you switch on the device for the first time, connect it t o the mains voltage
using th e mains adapter, see "
Mains adapter connecting", Page 13 - English.The
mains adapter must be connected during the entire installation process.
A system test is performed when your device is first switched on. Various messages
can appear. The display may remain dark for a short time or may flicker.
Please follow the instructions on the screen.
NEVER s witch off your device during the first-time setup process.
On delivery, the battery can be found in the batte ry compartment or in the accessories kit.
The battery must be charged if you want to operate your device using the battery.
When used on the move, the built-in battery provides the device with the ne cessary power. You
can increase the operating time by using the available energy-saving functions.
For instructions on how to connect external devices (e.g. mouse, p rinter) to your
device, please re fer to the operating manual for you r device.
Unpacking and
checking the device
Should you d iscover any damage that occu rred during transportation,
notify your local s ales outlet immediately!
