Installing the hard disk
New hard disks are delivered with a shock absorber kit; this may either be already
attached to the hard disk or require attach ing prior to installation.
► If necessary, attach the shock absorber kit to the underside of the ne w hard disk.

► Attach the hard disk c onnector to the hard disk (1).
► Carefully put the hard disk into the hard disk compartment (2).

► Place the cover into position, following the direction of the arrow (1).
► Secure the cover with the screws (2).
► Reinstall the battery (see "
Installing the battery " , Pa ge 1 7).
► Turn the notebook the right way up and place it on a flat surface.
► Reconnect the cables that you disconnected previously.
