Notes on power management
If your com puter is eq uipped with power managem ent (power-saving mode), the m onitor can fully
support this function. Here the mon itor d oes not distinguish between the individual energy-saving
modes of the computer (stand by mode, suspe nd mode and OFF mode), as it is capable of
immediately switching into the mode with the highest energy-saving effect.

If the computer dete cts inactivity (no input) it sends an appropriate signal to the monitor
to reduce the power c onsumption (power saving mode). The power indicator of the
monitor changes colour to show the chan ge in status. The ECO operating mode and
BASIC power-saving mode are the preset factory defaults.
Once an input is mad e at the computer the screen contents are restored.
