Connection Blade Ethernet Pass Thru 10Gb 18/18
18 internal 1/10-Gbit/s ports to the server blades
18 external uplink ports at 10 Gbit/s and 1 Gbit/s link speed through
SFP+/SFP modules
Installable in connection blade slots CB1/2 (fabric 1), CB3/4 (fabric 2)
and CB5/6 (fabric 3)
I 10 Gb Ethernet Pass Thru connection blades in slots CB3/4
(fabric 2) and CB5/6 (fabric 3) only support server blades that
are fitted with 1Gb or 10 Gb Ethernet mezzanine cards or 10Gb
CNA mezzanine cards.
The 18 internal ports are divided into 6 groups. Each port group
is associated with three server blade slots. The ports within a
single group must use the same link protocol with either 10
Gbit/s or 1 Gbit/s link speed. Default link speed is 10 Gbit/s.
The management blade web interface allows the user to modify
the link speed configuration for each port group, see the
management blade online help.
