6 Starting up and operation

6.1 Control and display elements
6.1.1 Front of system
The BX900 S2 system unit has a fold-out ServerView local service panel on the
front. It is controlled by the management blade and is used for local diagnostics
and administration of the blade server. It is also used for the initial configuration
of the management blades, see "Configuring management blades" on page 96.

The most important control and display elements can also be found on the front
of the ServerView local service panel. This means they are also available when
it is folded away.
