Weightgainscreen
TheWeightgainscreenshowsweightgaindatafortheanimalbeingweighed
andweightgainstatisticsforallanimalsinthesession.
Theweightgaingraphontheleftsideofthescreenshowsthechangeinan
animal'sweightgainfromonesessiontothenext.Theverticalaxisrepresents
weightgain,thehorizontalaxisrepresentstime.Eachpointonthegraph
representstheweightgain(in/day)thatoccurredbetweentwoweighing
sessions.
Forexample,ifthegraphslopesupward,therateofweightgainhasincreased.If
thegraphslopesdownwardtherateofweightgainhasdecreased.
Note:Providedtheweightgainfigureispositivetheanimalhasgainedweight.The
graphplotschangesinweightgainnotchangesinweight.Adownwardslopein
thelineonthegraphindicatesadecreaseintherateofweightgain,nota
decreaseinactualweight.
Theweightgain(in/day)fortheanimalcurrentlybeingweighedisdisplayedin
thetopleftcornerofthescreen.Thisisalsothelastpointonthegraph.For
example,inthescreenshownabove,theweightgainforthecurrentanimaland
thelastpointonthegraphis1.09/day.Thegraphshowsthatonlyoneoffour
previoussessionshasmatchedthisweightgain.
Forthegraphtobe
displayed:
1. Theremustbeatleasttwoprevioussessionswithaweightrecordedforthis
animal(i.e.withthesametagnumber).
2. Thesessionsmusthavebeencreatedondifferentdates.
Theweightgainiscalculatedfromtheweightrecordedinthemostrecent
sessionforthesametag
number.Ifthereisnopreviousdataforananimal,the
screendisplays"‐‐.‐"inplaceoftheweightgainfigure.
Note:Thesessionstatistics(average,lowestandhighestweightgainperday)displayed
onthisscreenonlyincludethoseanimalsforwhichweightcomparisonscanbe
made.Thestatisticsdonotincludeanimalswhicharebeingweighedforthefirst
timeandthereforehavenoweightgaincomparison.
