872 Features
Several new features have been included into the GardTec 872 control panel, these
are:-
Chime 1 & Chime 2
Within the Part/Test/Chime section. you are now able to program 2 Chime suites.
Chime Melodies
Different Chime Melodies may now be downloaded to the GardTec 872 control panel
via GardTec Remote upload/download software package only.
PSU Diagnostics
It is possible to undertake various PSU diagnostic tests directly via the LCD RKP.
NovActive Diagnostics
It is possible to undertake NovActive Bell Box Diagnostic tests directly from an LCD
RKP or via GardTec.
PID (Point ID Protocol)
The GardTec 872 control panels has the ability to be programmed as MOD + PID
when used in conjunction with the GardTec Digi Modem or ProDigi allowing Point ID
communications protocol to central station.
Exiting Engineer Mode
When you exit from engineer mode a battery test is performed. If no battery is present
or the battery is flat a Fuse / Bat Fault will be generated. This option may be turned off
by setting the PSU test time to 0 in the diagnostic section.
Zone Expansion
Zone Expansion for the GardTec 872 starts at zone 21 for the first expansion zone for
all types of expansion options.
