Measuring P and L If you are using wetted transducers, the AT868 requires you to enter
the path length (P) and the axial dimension (L). P is the transducer
face-to-face distance, and L is the axial projection of P in the flow
stream.
To determine L, physically measure the distance between the center
of the transducer ports at the inside wall as shown in Figure B-1
below. If such a measurment is not possible, consult the factory for
assistance.

Transducer Installations
To determine P, you need the following information:
• the pipe inside diameter (ID)
• the pipe wall thickness (WT)
• the installed pipe coupling length (CL)
• the transducer face depth (FD)
• the mounting angle (MA)
