3.4 IEC 60601-1 classifications

• Degree of protection against electrical shock: applied parts are marked with a symbol
indicating degree of protection.
• Degree of safety of application in the presence of flammable anesthetic mixture with air
or with oxygen or nitrous oxide: Not suitable.

anesthetics, vapors or liquids.
