Safety Information
IMPORTANT: The DM5E is an instrument for materials testing. Any use for medical applications or other purposes is not allowed. The
DM5E may only be used in industrial environments.
IMPORTANT: For battery operation of the DM5E, two “AA” size batteries are needed. You should only use the products recommended by
us for battery operation. Use of well-known battery brands is highly recommended.
IMPORTANT: Disposal of all components of the DM5E and its batteries must be done in compliance with all applicable regulations. See
Appendix B, Environmetal Compliance, for detailed information.
Software
According to the current state of the art, software is never completely free from errors. Before using any software-controlled test equipment,
please make sure that the required functions operate perfectly in the intended combination.
