1.4 Handling
Take the following safety precautions to prevent injuries and
property damage caused by improper handling and unsafe
use of the device.
Improper handling can result in SERIOUS INJURIES or DEATH.
• NEVER use the device when you are tired or under the
inuence of alcohol, drugs or medications
• NEVER use the device if you have not been trained in the
proper use of the device
• ALWAYS check the device for damage
• ALWAYS replace damaged or worn parts before use
• ALWAYS use GEDORE original replacement and accessory
parts exclusively for the device
• NEVER exceed the specied maximum input torque
• Keep hair and clothing away from moving parts
• Make sure that you ALWAYS have solid footing when
working
1.5 Work Environment
ALWAYS use the device in a safe work environment.
• The work area MUST be kept clean and tidy
• Use the device in a suciently large and protected work area
• Localized work illumination MUST be adequate
• NEVER work with the device in a potentially explosive atmosphere
