3.2 Preparation of the Lithium-ion Battery
The lithium-ion batteries are shipped as partially charged. Before
using the device for the rst time, the lithium-ion battery must be
recharged by plugging it into the charger.
The microprocessor built-in in the lithium-ion battery is permanently
active and therefore has a low power consumption. We recommend
charging the lithium-ion battery approximately every 6 weeks
without using it. Alternatively, the lithium-ion battery can remain
permanently plugged into the connected charger.
