8 Maintenance and Repair
Only have your equipment repaired by GEDORE qualied personnel
and only with original spare parts.
Addresses and contact details can be found on the back of the operating
instructions.
We recommend recalibrating the device once a year or after 20 000
bolting operations.
After a recalibration, the old calibration certicate is invalid.
From this moment on, the new calibration certicate and the new
torque setting table apply.
After repair, a performance check must be carried out.
However, the following points should always be noted:
• The device and its ventilation slots should always be kept clean
• When working, make sure that no foreign objects get inside the device
• The air inlet on the engine is not allowed to be covered
• New calibration certicate or torque setting table valid
9 Environmentally Friendly Disposal
Dispose of the device and packaging material in accordance with
statutory regulations.
Lithium-ion batteries are recyclable. Do not throw used lithium-ion
batteries into re or household waste. GEDORE oers environmen-
tally friendly old battery disposal. For this, please contact us.
Damaged lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of directly as special
waste and must no longer be transported unattended.
ALWAYS comply with national and local waste disposal laws.
