4.2 Loosening Bolts
Select the desired direction of rotation on the right/left switch (D). The
device rotates in the direction in which the switch is pressed. Select the
desired torque on the dial (G) (see chapter 3.5.4).
Put the device with the preselected torque on a bolt connection.
For the bolt connection, put the reaction arm (J) to the abutment.
Respect secure position of the reaction arm (J), the reaction torque
needs to be transmitted from the reaction arm (J) in the height of the
impact socket (L).
If the device switches o before the bolt is unbolted, the set torque
must be increased or switched to the higher gear.
If the bolts are tight, the device must operate
for a longer period of time at high torque and
low speed. This can cause the motor to over-
heat! In such cases, the device must be idle
occasionally so that the air conditioning cools
the engine back to operating temperature.
The motor and electronics are monitored for
temperature.
