3.5 Torque Setting
3.5.1 Selection of the Rotation Direction
Moving the right/left switch (D) changes the direction of rotation.
The side of the switch that is pressed down indicates the direction in
which the device rotates.
Select the required direction of rotation.
By default:
R= Tighten L= Loosen
Read the desired torque from the torque setting table (F) attached
to the gear device housing and set the dial (G) to the corresponding
numerical value.
3.5.2 Adjusting the Torque
Read the desired torque from the torque setting tables (F) on the
gearbox case and set the dial (G) to the appropriate value.
In order to ensure a precise adjustment of the torque when changing
it, the dial must always be rst turned to position 1.
Then the desired torque can be set.
The position 1 corresponds to the smallest setting value and the
position 7 corresponds to the largest setting value.
The torques can be adjusted continuously to values between the
numbers (e.g. 1 and 2).
