(b) Inspect the combination meter connectors.
1 Inspect continuity
 Disconnect the connector from the combination meter assembly
 Inspect continuity between terminals
Standard:
2 Inspect voltage
 Disconnect the connector from the combination meter assembly
 Turn the ignition switch ON
 Inspect voltage between terminals
Standard:
Result and solution:
Normal Replace the combination meter assembly
Abnormal Repair or replace the harness or connector
Tester connection Condition Standard condition
B4 - ground Turn the ignition switch ON 10 – 14V
Tester connection Condition Standard condition
B7 - ground Normal condition Continuity
B8 - ground Normal condition Continuity
