If a function factor is set, all the parameters in the above table are converted into user units.
Calculationoftheminimumandmaximumvaluesofparameters“Dimfactornum”and“Dimfactorden”
Calculation of the minimum and maximum values of parameters “Dimfactornum” and “Dimfactorden”.
Limits must be included when setting the values of PAR 3900 Dimfactornum and PAR 3902 Dimfactordento pre-
vent the internal variables of the drive moving out of range.
Fixed limits for each of the two parameters cannot be dened since it is the ratio between the two that must be limited
and because this limit also depends on parameter 680 Fullscalespeed.
There is the possibility of an overow depending on the order in which the two
parameters PAR 3900 Dimfactornum and PAR 3902 Dimfactorden are set and their initial value.
The conditions in which an overow could occur are described in the table below.
Initialvalue Valuestobeset Order Overflow
Den = 1 Num = 1 Den 30 – Num 10 Num – Den No
Den = 1 Num = 1 Den 30 – Num 10 Den – Num Si
Den = 30 Num = 10 Den 1 – Num 1 Num – Den Si
Den = 30 Num = 10 Den 1 – Num 1 Den – Num No
If an overow occurs when setting one of the two parameters, the other parameter is automatically set to the same
value so that the conversion value is equal to 1.
Sentviathecongurator
If the parameters are sent by the GF-eXpress congurator, they are written in a set order and an intermediate overow
could occur while setting valid values.
If the value of the rst parameter sent by the congurator generates an overow, the second parameter is set to the
same value as the rst (this temporarily forces the dimension factor to 1); when the second parameter is written the
dimension factor returns to the correct value.
Changingtheendofscalespeed
When modifying PAR 680 Fullscalespeed, parameters PAR 3900 Dimfactornumand PAR 3902 Dimfactorden
are forced to 1.
