The Rail Threader (fig. 1) is composed of:
– A hydraulic power unit (1)
– A set of hydraulic controls (2)
– Two motorised carriages equipped with hydraulically-controlled rail clamps, each
equipped with two drive units for travel, one of which is motorised and detachable (3)
– A double beam forming the main frame (4)
– Two lifting cylinders with rods connected by the support frame (5)
– Two shifting cylinders (6)
– An electrical unit (7)
