4 – 2 Hydraulic unit
The hydraulic power unit (fig. 2) includes:

– A thermal motor (1) equipped with an elastic coupling and a triple-body pump. This
unit is mounted on shock absorbers to reduce the motor vibrations in the whole Rail
Threader.
– A 50 l hydraulic oil tank (2) equipped with a suction filter, a filler cap with filter and
breather, a filter on the return circuit, a drainage plug and a visual hydraulic oil level
indicator.
– A 15 l diesel tank (3) equipped with a level (4).
