The Rail Threader is manipulated by a single operator; travel must always be in a
forward direction relative to it.
5 – 2 – 1 Reminder of terms used in this chapter
For all manipulation of the Rail Threader, use the following terminology (fig. 20) :

Before starting a job, make sure that the direction of travel of the Rail
Threader meets this requirement during renewal or replacement operations,
so as to guarantee the operator's safety.
