To transform a standard midifile into a GEM song format
Following the instructions on page 25, it is possible to convert a midifile into a GEM song format, by loading a midifile into
the Genesys Xp sequencer memory. Once the file is loaded, you can edit it with the same procedure as the GEM songs, and
save it on the hard disk (or in a floppy), in GEM song format.
Load a standard midifile in a memory location

During loading the midifile is converted by the
Genesys xp in a Gem song

Edit the file parameters as a Gem song

Save the file on disk in Gem folder songs
