Check the cables or power cords for correct connections.
For an external device that has its own power switch, make sure that the
power is turned on.
Power Management Problems
The Tablet PC does not enter Sleep or Hibernation mode
automatically.
If you have a connection to another computer, the Tablet PC does not
enter Sleep or Hibernation mode if the connection is actively in use.
Make sure that the Sleep or Hibernation time-out is enabled.
The Tablet PC does not enter Sleep or Hibernation mode
immediately.
If the Tablet PC is performing an operation, it normally waits for the
operation to finish.
The Tablet PC does not resume from Sleep or Hibernation mode.
The Tablet PC automatically enters Sleep or Hibernation mode when the
battery pack is empty. Do any one of the following:
Connect the AC adapter to the Tablet PC.
Replace the empty battery pack with a fully charged one.
Sensor Problems (for Windows 10 Models
Only)
The built-in digital compass doesn’t seem to be accurate.
Rotating the display can affect the accuracy of the digital compass. This is
normal, not a malfunction. The sensors for the compass require periodic
recalibration. Follow this method to recalibrate the sensors:
1. Make sure you are far away from any large metal objects or magnetic
fields.
2. Start an application that utilizes the digital compass.
3. Hold the Tablet PC level with the horizon, with the LCD side facing up.
4. Rotate the Tablet PC 360° at least three times around each axis (X, Y,
and Z) as shown below.
