4.4.2 Manoeuvring the lighthead

Risk of infection or tissue reaction
A collision between the device and another item of equipment may result in
particles falling onto the surgical site.
Pre-position the device before the patient arrives. Move the device carefully
to avoid a collision.

• The lighthead can be manoeuvred in various ways:
– For sterile personnel: using the sterile handle provided for this purpose in the centre of the
lighthead 1 .
– For non-sterile personnel: by holding the lighthead 2 directly.
