Saving and restoring settings
You can save and restore the system settings via the Web page:

Once you have configured the DECT Manager and after making any changes to the
configuration, particularly registering or deregistering handsets, you should save the
latest settings in a file on the PC so that the current system can be restored quickly if
problems occur. The file is stored with the suffix .cfg (default: Gigaset-yyyy-mm-dd.cfg).
If you change the settings accidentally or you need to reset the DECT Manager due to a
fault, you can reload the saved settings from the file on your PC to your phone. These
settings can be restored via the reset button on the device (
£ page 24) or by restoring
the firmware's default settings (
£ page 98).
The .cfg file contains all system data with the following exceptions:
u Handsets' DECT registration data
u Handsets' call lists
