To assemble the inlet pipe assembly, proceed as follows:
1 From the pipe nipple end (about 2 to 3 threads), wrap the inlet pipe with Teflon tape
[12 to 15 revolutions (see Figure 5-8)].
Do not use tape at the very end of the pipe nipple, to prevent tape from entering the dispenser
hydraulics. Tape in the hydraulics can cause failures of valves, nozzles, or other significant
problems.
Pipe Threads: Use recommended sealant, Loctite #567 (Part Number 56747) and Loctite

2 Apply a moderate bead of sealant completely around the nipple end at the edge of the Teflon
tape (see Figure 5-9).
Note: For pipe threads, ensure that you apply
the primer before applying the sealant.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
