PROCEDURE FOR CLEANING COATED ROPES mod. DRAKA CSR
Materiale necessary:
- Isopropyl alcohol;
- Microfiber cloth;
- a pair of cotton gloves (recommended);
It is important to keep your hands clean throughout the cleaning phase.
Avoid touching parts of the lift soiled with oil or grease. Even if you wear
gloves, avoid getting them dirty;
1. Position yourself with the cabin on the top floor and start cleaning the ropes starting from the top.
Spray the product on the cloth and pass the cloth over a section of a rope. The operation must be
done with the car stationary.
The rope is clean when the cloth makes friction on the rope;
2. Move on to the next rope. Place the cloth behind the rope to be cleaned, spray the product and
pass the cloth over the rope. The ropes must be cleaned one at a time;
