5.3 MANUAL EMERGENCY OPERATION
IMPORTANT!
Before starting the emergency operation, advise the trapped passengers to remain calm, inform
them that the lift complies with all safety requirements, that the manual rescue operation of the
lift may cause slight jolts in the car due to the brake being applied and that they will be able to
exit within a short time.
For correct and safe execution of the manual emergency operation, refer to the following procedure:
STEP
ACTION PICTURE
1
Open and enter the machinery room and/or the electrical cabinet.
2
Disconnect power to the lift by turning the FM switch [QFM] on the
electrical cabinet OFF (0).
3
Turn the light on in the well (if possible).
4
Collect the “out of service” signs from the machine room.
5
Ensure that all landing and car doors are closed and display the “out of
service” signs on the landing doors.
IMPORTANT
Before proceeding further, it is essential to know that:
On the electrical cabinet:
- the HZP LED is lit to indicate that the car has reached the floor
On the STK1R board:
- the FS LED is lit to indicate that the car is moving up,
- the FD LED is lit to indicate that the car is moving down,
- the PS1, PS2, ..., PS6 LEDs indicate the car movement speed (the
more LEDs lit, the faster the car speed).
If all PSn LEDs are lit and the speed increases further, the brake will
automatically intervene to prevent a dangerous situation.
6
Use the key [SMEQ], turn it and keep it ON [ I ].
7
Wait for the EM02 board and the Inverter panel to switch on (~5-10s).
8
Press and hold the button [SMFQ] until the car has reached the nearest
floor (HZP LED lights up).
9
When the car is at the floor, the doors automatically open and the
passengers can exit the car.
10
Once the passengers have evacuated the car, close and lock both car
doors and all landing doors.
11
Leave the FM switch [QFM]
OFF
(0
) until the maintenance technician
intervenes, turn the light off in the well (if on) and lock the electrical
cabinet and/or the machinery room.
12
Call the Maintenance Company to report an emergency that has been
or is to be resolved and to request the necessary checks to restore
normal operation of the lift.
