In particular, take the following instructions into account when maintaining your GRACE
EASY:
Use as little water as possible and keep it away from electrical contacts.
Clean the vehicle with a soft sponge or soft brush.
Clean the battery carrier on the down tube with a damp cloth.
Allow the electrical plug connections to dry before putting the bike back into
operation.
8. Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible causes and remedies
The drive system does not switch on.
The battery does not have sufficient
charge. Check the charge status of the
battery and where necessary charge the
battery.
The battery does not fit properly in the
frame. Remove the battery and re-insert
it. The lock cylinder must be fully
latched.
The display unit is not latched/electrical
connections have come lose. Check the
fit of electrical connections on the
handlebars and motor.
If the problem is not resolved with these
measures, seek out a specialist dealer.
The drive system does switch one but the
electric motor does not provide any
assistance,
The electrical connections on the
handlebars or in the proximity of the
motor are not inserted correctly or have
come undone. Check the electrical
connections on the handlebars and
motor.
If the problem is not resolved with these
measures, refer to a specialist dealer.
On the display the massage “power prot”
appears.
Check all connectors of the electronical
system. If all plugs are correct connected
please contact your dealer.
