Settings and Measurement
3-25
Alarm Cancel ...................... When On has been selected for the Alarm Hold parameter, select
Alarm Cancel to cancel the alarm status when data capture has
stopped. To cancel the alarm status during a data capture operation,
press the MENU key and then the ENTER key.
Start/Stop Confirmation Message
.................................. If On has been selected for this parameter, a confirmation message
box is displayed at the start of data capture. Select On to prevent any
misoperation during data capture.
Power On Start ................... Initiates measurement as soon as the GL450 is turned on.
Disable: Disables the Power On Start function.
Enable: Enables the Power On Start function.
Room Temp. Compensation
.................................. This parameter enables room temperature compensation settings
when thermocouples are used. You can select from either Internal or
External room temperature compensation.
Internal: The GL450's room temperature compensation settings are
used.
External: Select this parameter when measuring compensation other
than that of the GL450.
Note: The Internal setting is normally used.
AC Line Frequency ............. Select the setting that matches the frequency of the AC line used. Use
this parameter if there is AC line noise present when performing
measurement.
50 Hz, 60 Hz
CHECKPOINT
With the 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies, the sampling speed at which
AC line noise can be eliminated depends on the number of channels
installed (please see the following table for details).
Sampling Speed/Number of Channels Correlation Table (When the
Digital Filter is Enabled)
50/60: Can be eliminated at 50/60 Hz
100: Can be eliminated at 100 Hz or higher
NG: Cannot be eliminated
–: Cannot be selected
Burn Out ............................. This parameter enables or disables the function that moves to full
scale to inform of a sensor burnout in a thermocouple.
Off: The burnout function is disabled.
On: The burnout function is enabled.
Note: We recommend that On be normally used.
Temp. Unit........................... This parameter specifies the temperature unit.
°C: Celsius
°F: Fahrenheit
If °F is selected, the scaling function is compulsorily enabled.
