CHAPTER 3 Settings and Measurement
FTP server setting
This is used to perform the FTP server setting of backup destination.
Selection item Description
FTP Client FTP Server Enter the domain name or IP address of the FTP server. (Up to 127 characters)
User Name Enter the user name of the FTP account. (Up to 31 characters)
Password Enter the password of the FTP account. (Up to 31 characters)
Port Number Enter the port number of a port to be used for FTP. It is normally 21. (0 to 65535)
PASV Mode Make the passive mode setting.
ON : Should be set for communication with an external FTP server in a rewall environment.
OFF : Should be set for communication with an FTP server in a normal network environment.

Connection Test
Press right key to execute (Performs connection test to the FTP server.)
When the connection test is performed, a message is displayed.If connection cannot be
established, check the settings and perform the connection test again.
* If the connection test is passed, the message is displayed.
FTP server Port number Enter the port number used for the FTP server in the GL240. Usually, this number is 21.
(0 to 65535)
E-mail setting
Perform the settings to send the e-mail from the GL240.
The e-mail with the notication setting information (Alarm, Low Battery, Low communication strength, Free
space in the internal memory (SD1) or SD memory card (SD2) (only when data capturing) is sent. In addition,
when setting to the Periodic notication, the e-mail will be sent in the set time.

When setting to On, free space information of the capturing
destination memory is notied.
Periodic

Set the time to send the notication setting information with the
e-mail to any address.
