RECEIVERS ARE DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER GRAUPNER RECEIVERS.
GR-12L Receiver
♦ When the receiver is not bound, the LED glows solid RED
♦ When bound, the LED flashes intermittently.
♦ When in bind mode, the LED is OFF and it only stays in binding
mode for a few seconds.
GR-16L Receiver
♦ When the receiver is not bound, the Red LED blinks slowly
♦ When bound, the LED glows solid green
♦ When in bind mode, the Green and Red LEDs are on and will
stay in bind mode for a few seconds.
Transmitter
Start with transmitter and receiver off.
(Always remove all propellers before starting the bind process.)
1. Turn on the transmitter, then the receiver
2. Go to the BASE menu and select the desired model
3. Select TX ctl
4. The BIND ON/OFF function is the first row of the menu. In
the column RX1 there is a button labeled:
OFF. (Or it will
indicate the number of channels discovered in a previous
bind; pressing the button will clear the previous bind)
Bind Procedure
1. Press and hold the set button on the receiver for about 3
seconds
2. Press the Bind button on the transmitter
3. The OFF will change to CHK momentarily
4. If the bind is successful, the number of receiver channels
will be displayed
5. If the bind is not successful, the Button will return to OFF
status
Repeat the bind process until bind is successful. (It is all a matter of timing.
Counting “one thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three” will
help with the timing.)
