The following changes were made to this machine since the owner's manual was printed:
• Obtained CSA certification meeting CSA C22.2 #105-1953 and UL 987-7th standards.
• Changed transformer, contactors, overload relays, terminal blocks, and wiring.
• Changed circuit requirements.
• Replaced oscillation diaphragm assembly with an air cylinder.
Note: At the top of each page is a note that indicates which page it replaces in the original manual. On the
parts list, the new parts are designated with a “V2”.

      Glossy spots or streaks can be caused by a worn sanding belt, so replace it. It may also happen if the rear pressure roller is too low, so raise it.

      If the motor doesn't start, the limit switch or emergency stop may be engaged; correct the situation and reset the emergency stop button. Also, check the power line for proper voltage. Inspect all lead connections on the motor for loose or open connections.

      First, tension the sanding belt. Next, make sure the sanding belt is centered, so it is not touching the limit switches. Also, ensure the emergency stop switch is released.

      Inspect keys and set screws on the pulleys; replace or tighten if necessary. Check if the motor fan is hitting the cover and tighten the fan or shim the cover. Replace the V-belt if it's defective.

      The feed rate may be too high, so feed the workpiece slower. Also, the depth of cut may be too great, so reduce it.
