Other Status Register Commands

*CLS
Function
Clears the status byte summary registers and the
all event registers.
Example
*CLS
Clears all the event registers, which include
Standard event registers, Operation event
registers, Measurement event registers,
Questionable event registers.

*OPC
Function
After all the pending operations are complete, sets
the operation complete bit in the standard event
status register.
Example

*OPC?
Function
Will return “1” to the output queue when all
pending operations have been completed.
Example
*OPC?
After the last command is executed, will return a
“1” to the output queue.
